GPS Details

GPS Services are provided in two ways

1.    A simple method of downloading your GPS Lat/Long coordinates from your GPS reciever to CouncilTools along with ID information such as a street address, and then printing the results.  Provision is also given so that a refined address over that collected in-field maybe added. This is a quick method to give to your maintenance staff in order to turn off water valves, make repairs etc.

2. A very detailed GPS mapping system is provided allowing maps to be layered onto your GPS data complete with roads, water and sewer lines, etc.  This capability requires the user to learn certain mapping methods in order to obtain good looking results.   We call this stage two GPS usage.
